**Privacy**

# **How BaanVrij handles data**

BaanVrij works without an account. We only request the information needed to find padel courts and improve the website.

## **Searches**

Your search contains a city, date, time window and playing duration. This information is sent to BaanVrij to request available results. We do not ask for your name, phone number or email address.

## **Location**

For rough sorting, the infrastructure may infer a broad region from your connection. Your device’s precise location is only requested after you choose to use it and grant permission in your browser. We use those coordinates in your browser to calculate distances; they are never included in analytics-event properties.

## **Visit statistics**

We use Plausible Analytics for aggregated visit and usage statistics. For example, we measure whether a search produces results and whether somebody continues to a booking page. Event properties contain functional information such as city, source, language and screen, but no submitted personal data or location coordinates.

## **External booking pages**

When you open an external link, the privacy and cookie policies of that club or provider apply. BaanVrij does not receive your payment or process your booking details.

## **Questions or requests**

A managed contact address for BaanVrij is still being set up. On the [**~~contact page~~**](https://baanvrij.nl/en/contact) we will only publish contact details once privacy questions can genuinely be handled there.
